This Carlsbad family was such a joy to get to know. Not only were mom and dad present but so was Grandma and Grandpa who were visiting from Illinois and spending time with their first Grandchild. Enjoy the moments with little Miss “S” and enjoy your sneak peek.
Another beautiful family and beautiful day here in Carlsbad. It’s mid October and it feels like it’s still summer. This family was full of fun and energy and kept me on my toes : ) I love the expressions the boys would give me and while I was reviewing the images to edit, the individual images of the boys made my heart MELT. The moments were fast and fleeting but I got some amazing shots from the day. Can’t wait to get through the remaining gallery. Here’s your sneak peek…..
Jennifer contacted me because she was an auction winner from the San Diego Breastfeeding Coalition auction which I had donated to. She informed me she had two year old triplets boys and a 3 year old boy. I meet this family this morning and to be perfectly honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have never photographed triplets before and figured I was in for a surprise, 4 boys under the age of 3…… hum. I was honored to be able to photograph this family and watch the whole dynamics between them. Needless to say I am totally humbled by the parents and how well behaved and mild mannered all 4 boys were. This session left me with a FULL heart and complete admiration for this family in how they were raising these boys. Here’s your sneak peek, I just couldn’t contain myself and had to see the images as soon as I got home : )
I love how big brother has a firm grip on his brothers, makes me fell like he’s protecting them. Then the gentle little finger grip from the smallest one just shows me how gentle he is.
This one makes my heart swoon…..sigh!!
This session was specifically shot with the intent of making birthday cards for these twins. Mom is throwing them a special princess birthday party so what better way to send out invitations than with the girls having a tea party. There are so many fantastic shots of the girls that we’ll will be able to make a whole album of just them playing tea party : ) Enjoy the sneak peek.
You know, sometimes you just have to bark to get that specific shot you’re looking for. That was the case for a couple of the shots in this gallery. This family was so much fun to photograph. Not only do they make my job look easy, but they are fun and up for anything. Especially when I said we were going to start in the parking garage….huh? October is the best time of year to take family portraits. The beaches are clear, the weather has a slight chill in the air and families aren’t so rushed to create that perfect image for their holiday cards. This family will surely have a ton of images to choose from. This family looked like they could pose on the cover of a magazine. The family was extremely photogenic and their boys were, let’s just say it HANDSOME! Here’s a few images for your sneak peek. I had a hard time narrowing it down since there were so many great ones.
I had so much fun meeting all these Pac Rim families at the beach for their mini-sessions. I was able to be a part of the schools fund raiser this year for their Fall portraits. We had a blast and was able to get some fun portraits. Here’s hoping you guys all enjoy your sneak peek.
Little “J” and Baby brother “M” were the perfect duo. Like Sunny and Cher or chocolate and peanut butter, these two just looked great together. I felt like I had my own personal assistant (she called herself the Director) throughout the session. She would make sure things ran smoothly and her baby brother was holding onto his knees. Not sure where that came from, but she was set on having him do that. We were able to capture some wonderful moments and I can’t wait to share the whole gallery with them. This little princess was 5 days old and a photographer’s dream. She was as pleasant and cooperative as any newborn I’ve worked with. The key to achieving this success is being 5 DAYS OLD. You heard me. Babies 5 days old are still use to sleeping a lot and they don’t stir when you move them and pose them. These images are some of my new favorites. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek ; )
I love photographing people. I especially love photographing friends. I know how stressful and uncomfortable it can be and hopefully I can liven things up and make it a little less painful. Thank goodness this family was up for anything I suggested and was able to see the beauty in an older downtown house for sale. Here’s your sneak peek…..hope you enjoy them!
