Sometime just being together is enough. When the days seem to pass by quickly and you have a ton of things on your plate, don’t forget the simple things. When I look at these girls, I look at the subtle way they interact with their parents and see how much love is in this family. While shooting one of the girls, I notice how the other had somehow fallen and daddy was right there comforting her, reminding her that at the end of the session there was ice cream waiting for her. Suddenly all her worries were gone. Then I look at the simple things I get to capture for these families like the beautiful eyelashes on these girls and it reminds me to slow down, and remember the simple things in life.
